First Safari Park in Hungary Now Open
Adventure Awaits you near Budapest
I am a huge fan of animals and during the quarantine period I was looking for a unique place to go where I can get rid of the solitary confinement feeling. Therefore, I was over the moon when I came across the drive-in Safari Park advertisement on Facebook, so I decided to visit it as soon as possible.
The park is operated by the Hungarian National Circus, it is situated in Szada, only 30 minutes drive from Budapest.
This family-friendly attraction can be visited only by a closed roof car. In order to avoid the crowd, the park accepts only those visitors who have already pre-registered online with their license plate number.
Experiences at the Safari Park
Arriving at the entrance of the Safari Park, you should buy some bags of carrots, this way you can have the experience of feeding the animals yourself.
In the park you can meet different kinds of exotic animals, like camels, giraffes, elephants, horses and the so called: ”zebmar”, a hybrid of zebra and donkey.
My personal favourite was that camel who put its face into our car and tried to sniff at me. I was also impressed by the enormous, 4000 kg and 44 years old elephant while it was holding its snout to get some food.
During our journey I felt absolutely safe because we had the opportunity to stay in our car and there was not any personal contact with the other visitors at all.
The awesome atmosphere provided an unforgattable adventure and an extraordinary outdoor entertainment.
I enjoyed every single minute of the tour so much that I have already booked my new visit to take part in the next expedition 🙂
